Dynamic Balance

Poise in single leg.

The Dynamic Balance workshop is planed to asses and correct the muscle imbalances in making your Yoga practice more effective that in period of time you will regain your physical and physiological balances. The workshop will also improve your gait and standing stamina.

Why balancing postures are important to your health?

Physiologically imbalance means lack of proportion or relation between corresponding things, our muscles work as rope and pulley system if the pulley has to circle around its axis, one end of rope has to be respectively smaller so other can lengthen. Similarly when one joint has to move in its axis, two group of muscles Agonists & Synergist (Prime mover & Helper) on one side and Antagonists (Opposing muscles) on the other side of joint have to work synergistically. This is accomplished by nervous system that controls tension – relaxation ratio.

Due to daily stress and one-sidedness in most of our activities we create imbalance in this system leading to many dysfunctions such as hyperextended spine – distended belly, feet turn out – turn in and the worst scoliosis, pelvis and rib cage rotation.
